Introduction to section two
Section two is much more hands-on than section one. You will create some user interfaces and really get to grips with how the FireMonkey FMX library works to make them look good on multiple devices.
After some deep immersion in user interface design, we will look at the kinds of sensors and additional hardware mobile devices provide beyond that of a desktop computer. We also look at how to handle data using the knowledge we gained in section one, along with sharing it properly.
We explore the differences between iOS and Android devices and how to cater for the other little gotchas such as super large or extra tiny displays and what to do to cope with devices that have not even been invented yet!
Finally, we take a look at getting our apps into the hands of our users, both directly to their devices, as well as via the app stores.
